This build focuses on a strong Bio (Marine/Medic) opening from a standard 3 Barracks Academy build.
8 — Supply Depot
9 — Barracks
10 — Barracks
12 — Barracks
15 — Refinery (Gas)
Important: Keep using the SCV building the Supply Depot to construct additional Depots as needed to avoid supply blocks.
@100 Gas — Build an Academy
@100% Academy — Research Stimpack and train 3 Medics.
@100% Medics — Add 2 more Barracks, for a total of 5 Barracks. Also, build an Engineering Bay (Ebay) for detection and upgrades.
Continue producing Marines from all 5 Barracks.
Mid-Game Transition:
@800 Minerals — Build 2 Command Centers to expand and secure more resources.
@Next 200 Minerals — Build a Factory and take a 2nd Gas. This is your first step toward transitioning into Mech.
Transition to Mech:
Once your economy is stabilized, start transitioning into a Mech-based army by:
Building more Factories to produce Tanks, and Goliaths.
Building 4 armories
Slowly phase out Marines/Medics as your Mech army becomes more powerful.
Don't lift your barracks so early. Only lift once you have healthy tank count and about 5-6 factories.
When you transition into Mech, you cannot push out freely without your teammates. If you are pushing out alone, do dropship plays instead
Tips for Success:
Early Pressure: Your 5 Barracks setup allows for strong early Marine/Medic pressure. Keep up the aggression to deny expansions and force your opponent to defend.
Upgrades: Make sure you're constantly upgrading infantry weapons and armor through the Engineering Bay, as these upgrades can give you an edge in early skirmishes.
Mech Transition: As your Bio units start to lose effectiveness in the mid-game, focus on transitioning to a full Mech composition, particularly if facing late-game tech like Protoss high-tech units or Zerg Lurkers.
